Little Creek Gardens is a certified organic farm nestled on the west shores of Okanagan Lake near Kelowna, British Columbia, Canada. In 1995 Donna Denison developed Little Creek Dressing as a "value-added" product to complement her husband's, Dale Ziech's, gourmet salad greens which are grown on their farm.
Little Creek's Original (formerly called Raspberry Vinaigrette), Spicy Strawberry (formerly called Strawberry Jalapeño) and most recent Cherry Balsamic dressings are produced in a commercial kitchen on their farm. Each recipe includes fresh and natural ingredients, some of which are grown on their land and others are purchased from local farmers. Donna received early encouragement from Chatelaine magazine's Associate Food Editor, Marilyn Crowley, who describes the Original dressing as, "the best bottled dressing I've ever had." Customers use the dressing as a vegetable dip, sauce, marinade, and of course, as a dressing for salads. Many customers have confessed to "swigging" the dressing right from the bottle.
Little Creek Dressings are available in most grocery, produce and health food stores throughout the Okanagan, Kootenays, lower Mainland of British Columbia, and some areas of Alberta, Saskatchewan and Ontario. As well, the dressings have been shipped all over the world to fans who not only love the flavorful taste of the dressings, but as one fan described it: "It's an energy that goes beyond anything you can touch and feel."
